From the Collection: The collection is arranged in several series and sub-series. Zeiszler had his own numbering system for the collection. This was denoted by a green sticker with the number on it and original order was retained. Materials in Finsihed Family Genealogy Series consist of Zeiszler’s finished family genealogies. The Family History Series has two sub -series. At the time of updating the collection Vol. 19, 20, 31, and 37 are missing. Materials in the Completed Sub-Series include completed family history research. The Unifinished Sub-Series contains incomplete family history research. Both of these series include family histories; family group sheets; pedigree charts; birth, death, marriage, confirmation, census information; a few maps, ships’ passenger lists and citizenship/naturalization certificates. At the time of updating the collection Vol. 62, and 79 – 82 are missing. Materials in the Correspondence Series are letters between Zeiszler and family members that he is researching. The American Historical Society of Germans form Russia Series contains materials from three international conferences. The Publications Series contains four sub-series. The Brochures and Pampletts Sub-Series contains materials related to research at North Dakota organizations. The Newspaper Clippings Sub-Series includes obituaries, newspaper clippings, and special editions of newspapers. The Journal Sub-Series contains three different Journals with two of the Journals are bound together. The Books Sub-Series covers town histories, county histories, and other family genealogy publications.
