 File — Box: 1, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Katie Glatt Wald Collection consists primarily of photographs of her family, specifically family weddings. In addition to the photographs, there is negative film, small projector slides, and a CD and floppy discs. There is a list identifying each photo, with the known people and places listed. Also listed is more information as to who they are related to in the family tree, such as when they were married, the place, date, and who their parents or children were. Also included is a box of lye soap. This collection is organized into four series: Photograph, Film, Multimedia, and 3-D.

The Photograph Series consists of many family photographs, wedding photographs, images of slides, and photocopies of wedding photographs. Most of the people are identified in the images.

The Film Series consists of negative film with images of the family.

The Multimedia Series consists of a CD with a music documentary and three floppy discs containing backups of the images.

The 3-D Series consists of a sample of lye soap made by Katie (Glatt) Wald. This item has been separated from the rest of the collection and is housed at the GRHC.
