The Mary Elaine (Fischer) Worline Collection consists of a document, three photographs, and nineteen books.

The text of the plaque is in German language at the center of the homemade plaque. Along the edges is drawn and colored wheat, vines, and grapes. On the top two corners are small pictures of two priests. The document is a homemade plaque/ poem that was made by Sister Margaret Mary Engel, O.S.B. in 1938 as a gift to her mother, Leocadia (Braun) Engel, congratulating her for being the mother of two priests: Fr. Alban (Raphael) Engel, O.S.B. and Fr. Landolin (Pius) Engel, O.S.B. Fr. Alban (Raphael) Engel, O.S.B. was ordained on June 14, 1925. He is featured on the upper left corner of the plaque. Fr. Landolin (Pius) Engel, O.S.B. was ordained on June 6, 1938, and he is featured on the upper right corner of the plaque.

The remainder of the Mary Elaine (Fischer) Worline Collection has been divided into two series: Photograph and Book.

The Photograph Series contains three photographs of Strasburg, North Dakota citizens in the early 1900s. Two of the images, 2012.06.02 and 2012.06.03, also appear in the Jolenta (Fischer) Masterson Collection. Jolenta (Fischer) Masterson is a sister of Mary Elaine (Fischer) Worline.

The Book Series contains nineteen theology books in German, English, and Latin. The books were owned and used by the Engel and Fischer families who lived in Strasburg, Emmons County, North Dakota. The organization of the series was based on the structure already put in place by the donor. The series has been divided into two sub-series:

The Rosemary and Wendelin M. Fischer Sub-Series consists of thirteen theology books that belonged to Rosemary and Wendelin M. Fischer. The majority of the books are in German but some also have English and Latin script.

The Fr. Alban (Ralph) Engel, O.S.B. and Fr. Landolin (Pius) Engel, O.S.B. Sub-Series is comprised of six theology books that belonged to Fr. Alban (Ralph) Engel, O.S.B. and Fr. Landolin (Pius) Engel, O.S.B. Frs. Alban and Landolin were brothers of Rosemary Fischer and sons of John and Leocadia (Braun) Engel.
