Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Sandra (Bengerdes) Miles Collection is comprised of materials related to her German Russian ancestry. Included within this collection are family trees for the Spiker/Speakar and Heagel Families, two photocopied passports for Christian Spiker, and an unknown individual with the surname Kasper, both of which are in Russian. Also present in this collection is a correspondence between Miles and Michael Miller concerning the history of a textile that is part of Miles’ family history, dated 1995. Also included in the collection is a Heritage Review (Vol. 36, No. 2, June 2006) that includes an article written by Sandra (Bengerdes) Miles, entitled “Unraveling the Fibers.”
