Scope and Contents

The Wildermuth Family Collection consists of a history of the Wildermuth family. The collection contains family trees, information on descendants, and even some correspondence relating to the history of the family. The family history encompasses hundreds of years, dating as far back as the 1500s with Hans Wildermuth. This information is presented with many pages of typed history of the family. Throughout the pages of the family history are proofreading marks and notes. The collection also has a CD which has the family history and emails saved on it.

Biography

Susan (Greff) Renschler was born to parents Louis and June (Kempf) Greff on January 8, 1964. Louis and June married on February 25, 1961, and three years later they moved and settled in Linton, North Dakota. The couple had nine children: Francis, Patrick, Louise, Stephen, Susan, Carmen, Michelle, Rachel, and Charlotte. Susan is married to Jim Renschler and they reside in Missouri.

Herman D. Wildermuth was born to parents Wilhelm and Christianna (Zacher) Wildermuth near Linton, North Dakota, on February 18, 1908. Wilhelm and Christianna had eight children: Gottlieb, William, Elizabeth, Johannes, Malvina, Katherine, Bertha, and Herman. On July 14, 1935, in Ashley, North Dakota, Herman Wildermuth married Lydia Haller, who was born on October 04, 1913. Herman and Lydia had two children: Elaine and Carol Ann. Lydia (Haller) Wildermuth died on April 19, 1999. Herman Wildermuth died on May 17, 2002.
