Biography
Elaine (Levi) Bauer was born on August 5, 1927, to parents Fred and Christine (Orth) Levi. Elaine married Armand Bauer on March 25, 1949 in McPherson County, South Dakota. The couple had four children: Candice, Debra, Sydney, and Andrew. Dr. Armand Bauer died December 12, 1999, at the age of seventy-five.
Frederick “Fred” Levi was born on May 23, 1903, in South Dakota to parents Fred and Magdalena Levi. Christine (Orth) Levi was born on June 6, 1905, in Artas, South Dakota to parents George and Katherina (Dietrich) Orth. On October 1, 1925, Fred Arthur Levi married Christine Orth in Campbell Country, South Dakota. The couple had two children. Fred Levi died on January 7, 1997.

- The dress is a wedding gown with a white silk with scallop hemline (without slip or veil). The dress has cap sleeves, flat collar, pearl trim at neckline, and a bow at front. The dress was worn by Christine Orth at her wedding to Fred A. Levi in 1925.

- The boutonniere was worn by Fred A. Levi at his wedding to Christine Orth in 1925. The corsage has wax orange blossom flowers, cloth and wire.
- Man’s eyeglasses [1998.01.03]
- The eyeglasses were worn by Fred A. Levi, c. 1925. They are round, horn-rimmed glasses.
