The Larry Fandrich Collection contains early documents of him and his wife, Hedwig Tiede. These include family group sheets, baptismal certificates, school records, and their marriage certificate.

Biography

Lawrence Fandrich was born on 25 July 1918 in Lehr, ND. He was baptized at the Fredonia Lutheran Church which is now located on the Logan County museum grounds in Napoleon. He attended school in Lehr and later farmed with his father in the area. Hedwig (Hattie) Tiede, was born on 21 September 1927. Hattieā€™s baptismal certificate is from 6 November 1927. Lawrence and Hattie were married on 25 November 1945. Lawrence died on December 31, 2007 in Oakes, North Dakota.
