The NDSU Libraries’ Germans from Russia Heritage Collection received the following materials on 1 May 2019 from Gertrude (Stading) Koch.

Separated Records

The following donated materials were cataloged and added to the GRHC book collections: The Stading Family Cookbook, Vol. I, s.n., s.l. August 1989, not paged. Buckley, Susan Stading. Stading Family Cookbook, Vol. II, Susan Buckley: s.l., page 38. Typescript of oral interview of Freda (Mrs. John) Stading nee Frey, at the Missouri Slope Retirement Home in Bismarck, ND, Friday May 31(probably 1974). Interviewed by Larry Sprunk for the State Historical Society of North Dakota, North Dakota Oral History Project, Morton County.



The following materials were separated in the Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection

Pair pillowcases, white cotton edged with tatted lace. Single row of one-shuttle tatted lace made with one ring up and one ring down. Length of tatting about 46” long, single joined rings, white/ecru thread. Ball of Star brand tatting cotton, 60 yds, shade 113 - light yellow. Tatting shuttle, metal with metal bobbin, hook on one end. Unmarked, 3” long. Removable bobbin holds light yellow thread. [similar to undecorated, vintage Boye shuttles, has three indents on hook end -pb.] Thread label, DMC Cordonnet size 30.
