Biographical / Historical
The NDSU Chapter of North Dakota Higher Education Association’s (NDHEA) purpose is to advance the cause of higher education in North Dakota by 1) securing public and legislative support, 2) improving the programs of the institutions on higher education, 3) improving the welfare and morale of the college faculties, 4} supporting the programs of the National Education Association and the North Dakota Education Association, 5) Representing its members in their relations with their employer, 6) holding property and funds for the attainment of Association Purposes.
The North Dakota Education Association (NDEA) Chapter No. 133 purpose is to advance school interests; to foster the educational forces; to give trend to progressive educational movements; to stimulate an appreciation of the responsibilities and opportunities of the profession; to maintain for the teaching profession its true place in the world’s work; to provide for the economic welfare of its members; to promote fellowship and fraternal feeling among teachers and to forward and protect their interests by means of instruction, conference and united action.
