Biographical / Historical

(The following excerpt is from The Fargo Forum Sunday Edition, August 1, 1937)

Seven ranking members of the North Dakota Agriculture College staff, most of whom have given a life time service to the institution, Saturday were summarily dismissed, without explanation, on less than three hours notice. These dismissals, reliable information has it, came out of a vastly longer list slated for the discard, are understood, in fact, to be the “trial horses” of a move which may wind up in virtually a complete change at the state college, at leseast insofar as major positions are concerned.
