Biographical / Historical

In the fall of 1909, a group of faculty/staff wives and one faculty mother began to meet each week to sew and visit. “All lived near the corner of Tenth Street and Eleventh Avenue North, close enough to each other that newly encountered North Dakota Winter storms could not keep them from getting together.” (A Brief Account, p. 1) In 1995, the club disbanded.

The Priscilla Club records were donated by Imogene Carter in October, 1997. The records were what she had in her files. Mrs. Carter joined the club in 1969. She served as Vice President (1974-75), President (1975-76), and Secretary-Treasurer (1980-81).
