Biographical / Historical
The Challey School of Music at NDSU promotes the arts through its educational programs, its creative work, and its outreach activities. The program offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees—to prepare the next generation of music professionals. Music is first listed as a department in the 1903-1904 bulletin. By 1992 Music had joined the Division of Fine Arts with the Art Department and the Theatre Arts Department.
