“As I remember It”, the Iver Lund Reminiscence

Abstract
Reminiscence (20 leaves), likely written in 1998, by Iver Lund, who was born in 1918 the son of Christ and Kristine (Loken) Lund, documents his growing up on a farm at Zenith, N.D. near Belfield and attending Dickinson State Teacher's College from which he graduated in 1941 before entering the military. Reminiscence includes reprints of article by Lund published in North Dakota Outdoors in 1992. Collection also includes several newspapers articles by and about Lund.

Mr. Sachs, interviewed by his sister Alice Hamburg, discusses the lives of his parents, Herman and Hannah Sachs, and himself. He recounts his earliest memories of growing up in the Wilton-Wing, N.D. area, his father's life before coming to the United States in 1902; the family's other homes in Minneapolis and Annandale, Minn., Hecla and Aberdeen, S.D.; and finally circa 1924 moving to Fresno and Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Hamburg also recounts some of her childhood memories.
