First Avenue in 1905

This enlargement of a real photograph postcard is looking west on 1st Avenue North from just east of 5th Street. On the northeast corner of 5th Street and 1st Avenue we can see a livery stable with a few wagons/carriages in front. This is now occupied by the Fargo Forum building. Across the street on the northwest corner is the Masonic Lodge. This now a parking lot.

In the center of image, the building with the odd shaped roof is the Post Office/Federal Building.
