Seventh Street South
7th Street South begins at the Northern Pacific Railway Depot. It extends southward through only one block before becoming the western edge of Island Park. Its western side has been home to a number of businesses and residences. South of 8th Avenue, 7th Street is a residential area.
The image below is from a real photo postcard. It looks north along 7th Street South from approximately 1st Avenue South. In the center, is the N.P. Depot on Front Street (Main Avenue). On the east side of the street is deLendecie's Department Store and Doyle's Livery. Note that the picture was taken before deLendrecie's additional floors to the building in 1909.
On the west side of the street is the Waldorf Hotel, the Prescott Hotel, and Colonial Flats.
