Fairgrounds Grandstand

Many of the events to draw crowds at the fairgrounds were held in front of the grandstand, pictured in the real photo postcard above. The grandstand was in the south center of the fairgrounds and faced a dirt track to its north. Races, music and other events were held there.

The grandstand is not mentioned in a 1909 fair brochure but is pictured in the 1915 postcard to the right, so it must have been built between those dates.
