While research on college students and their use of e-books has emerged, there have not been studies done on the use of e-books by English and English majors specifically. This research aims to fill that gap. An analysis of the number of required textbooks that were available as e-books for English classes at NDSU revealed that just over half (or 67%) of the required books were available in e-book form. Surveys were distributed to English and English education majors at NDSU to determine their use of e-books and their attitudes towards them. Follow up interviews were also conducted to gain more insight. The majority of the participants agreed that they preferred print books over e-books, but they did acknowledge that e-books could be useful for some applications and agreed that e-books will still exist in the future.en_US
