dc.description.abstract | China is a country with a quickly growing economy and a large labor pool, making it an attractive
destination for foreign investments. This paper focuses on the factors that affect foreign
investment in China and provides information on the current state of politics, business, culture,
and transportation. Since China's entry into the World Trade Organization in 2001, the country
has engaged in massive reform of many of its policies and practices, making it more feasible than
ever for foreign investors to expand business into China's boarders. China's commitment to
promoting economic growth through political changes, more organizational structure options for
foreign investors, access to a full spectrum of labor needs, and improvements to transportation
infrastructure have led the country to see a huge increase in the amount and type of investments
by foreign enterprises. While the eastern seaboard of China has seen the most economic,
technological, and infrastructure growth and improvement in recent years, the country as a whole
is opening its doors more widely to global opportunities. Learning to understand and exploit the
resources and opportunities China has to offer can help foreign investors to realize success in
many different areas of business. | en_US |
