Presidential libraries gather the artifacts and documents of American presidents, but such institutions exist only for presidents since Herbert Hoover. The Theodore Roosevelt Center at Dickinson State University is creating the equivalent of a presidential library in the digital arena. In cooperation with major repositories including the Library of Congress, the National Park Service, and Harvard College Library, the Center is digitizing all things Roosevelt. Letters, cartoons, diary entries, photographs, films and other articles are being cataloged in a unified, comprehensive collection, which will be fully searchable and freely available online - a feat only possible because of cyberinfrastructure.en_US
