In front of barn is a white team of two horses pulling a wagon. A man sits atop of the wagon. A darker team of two horses pulls the buggy. Seated in the buggy are two men and a baby. People in the buggy are identified as August Bauer, Joseph C. Bauer, and Alvin Bauer (three generations of Bauers). Man in the wagon is identified as Edward Schurr. Photograph was taken on the August Bauer farm. Circa 1905-1907. Sticker along with the image reads: “Enlargement – from picture of August Bauer farm. He was married to Anna Buchmann. Farm at Blue Grass, ND. In buggy, 3 generations – August Bauer, son – Joseph Bauer, grandson – Alvin Bauer. On wagon, Edward Schurr – son of Joseph Schurr.
