Scope and Content From the Collection: The William Cordes Photograph Collection consists of fifty-six glass negatives that were taken by Mr. Cordes. For thirty of them copy prints were made by the Institute. There are forty-two 5x7 in. negatives and fourteen that are 3 ¼ x 4 ½ in. The negatives that have not been printed are either similar images to those that were printed, or those thought to be of poorer quality. Scope and Content From the Collection: The Vera Kelsey papers consist almost entirely of the manuscripts and research notes for her last four books. The correspondence is very scattered, dealing mainly with research information requests, and are mostly copies taken from the various manuscripts where the reverse side was used for research notes. Scope and Contents From the Collection: This Herschel Lashkowitz Photograph Collection compliments an earlier accession of photographs (processed as Photo 2049) documenting his long career as mayor of Fargo, N.D. and service in the North Dakota Legislature.
