Abstract The Fargo-Moorhead Quota Club was founded in 1925. Quotarians are known especially for their service to deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired individuals and disadvantaged women and children. The club records document the activities of the organization from 1925-1975. The majority of the collection is comprised of the club’s meeting minutes, scrapbooks, and events.

Scope and Contents These photographs from the Fargo Forum newspaper company have been arranged alphabetically by topic. They comprise the oversize photographs of a larger donation by the Forum. There are aerial views of the Fargo area, downtown Fargo, Great Northern Railroad, and residential areas. Views of Broadway, an early birds eye view engraving from 1882, fire of 1893, Gunkelman & Sons Seeds plant-fire on November 30, 1958, the Forum building, and harness racing at the fairgrounds.

Abstract The Fargo, North Dakota Board of Adjustment Papers contains the minutes of the Board, 1928-1933. The Board of Adjustment was an administrative agency that served to consider variances and special exceptions to ordinances, and heard appeals of interpretation of zoning ordinances.

Abstract An extensive collection of images collected by John Caron documenting the history and development of Fargo, N.D., dating from the 1870s to a series of snapshots of buildings, especially downtown, taken in 2002. The collection best documents buildings and businesses, especially in the downtown area.
