Scope and Content

From the Collection: The 1st North Dakota Infantry photograph collection is housed in two folders, the first folder contains a series of photographic postcards taken in 1916 during their active service at Mercedes, Texas, and the Mexican border.



The second folder holds five photographic prints showing solders lined up in front of the federal building, marching on Main Avenue, and at the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot all in Bismarck, N.D., taken in 1916 at their deployment.
