From the Item: Contains typed transcriptions of interviews done by Sara Walden with her mother-in-law, Velva Walden. Discussions center around family life, her German-Russian ancestry with the last three sections devoted to her life in Washington, California and Oregon. Homes in Washington included Ellensburg and Kelso, in California they lived at Gridley, Pittsburg and Antioch, and Coos Bay Oregon. Much of the material appears verbatim in her published book.
