From the Collection:
This collection contains negatives and photographs from James Arthur Jordan, Leslie Black, George Black, Anna Jane and Bill Schlossman.
These include photos of the Jordan, Black, and Schlossman friends and family and residences, Black Family Stores, the Black Building, Black Store Employee photos and Black Store summer events, Black and Schlossman family, events, and vacation photos.
Boxes 1, 2, and 3 contain photographs and negatives of the Jordan, Black, and Schlossman homes, business, social events, family, and friends. Box 3 and 4 contain photo albums belonging to the Jordan, Black and Schlossman families. Of interest is a Civil War era album that belonged to Col. R. M. Littler, an ancestor of the Jordan family. Box 5 contains glass plate negatives from the Black store summer events.
