The Horace School District #5 Records cover the period 1878-1935, but are not all-inclusive. Detailed teachers’ records for 1882-84 list the names of the teachers, their pay rate, the number of days they taught each month, and the names of the students along with the students’ attendance records. There are school board meeting minutes and teachers’ registers.
