Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The majority of Lyle E Huseby Papers consists of speeches, written and given by Mr. Huseby. Included are some correspondence and paperwork from a community play. The collection is divided into four series:
The Biographical series contains news articles from the Spectrum and the Fargo Forum with articles about Mr. Huseby and his activities within the community.
The Speeches series contains speeches and lectures, written and given by Lyle Huseby, on various topics which include legal matters, happiness, and political speeches from when he ran for Cass County State’s Attorney. This series also includes speeches from dedications and awards ceremonies he spoke at in the community; a select few of the speeches are filed with their accompanying correspondence.
The Correspondence series contains letters concerning the speeches Mr. Huseby gave over the years.
The Community Play series contains a copy of the Agatha Christie play “Witness for the Prosecution” in which Mr. Huseby was chosen to play the character of the defense attorney, Sir Wilfred Robarts, along with his personal notes for the play.
