This collection is comprised mainly of correspondence to and from Gerald Richardson from 1953 to 2007. The letters with unknown date are contained in a separate folder. There are a few postcards and giftcards with unknown dates. Two notes to public speeches, one for Fred Scheel, and the other for Jerry Lamb feature as well. Various foreign currencies, some of which appear to be from Richardson’s tour in Korea are contained. A letter for N.D.S.U. fellow Laura McDaniel is also within this collection. Finally, a folder of miscellaneous materials is included. Persons of note contained within the correspondence are as follows: Fred Scheel, Karl E. Mundt, James B. Rhoades, Mark Andrews, Quentin Burdick, Leo Kim, Malcolm S. Forbes Jr., Robert Dawson, Robert L. Burgess, Clarence Glasrud, Robert Hendrickson, Reuben Askanase, William B. Blankenburg, John Hoeven, Irwin Blumenfeld, David Askanase, and Charles Bailley.
