Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The research records of Thomas Isern consist of architectural analyses of structures in Bowman County and whether each is acceptable to be considered for the National Register of Historic Places. These architectural analyses consist of photos, maps, and reports. Also included in the collection are the notes and the official publication, Historic Architectural Survey of Bowman County. There are two series in the collection: Background and Survey Files. The Research & Background Series consists of documents relating to the entirety of the project rather to specific properties. Included here are the bound publication, Historic Architectural Survey of Bowman County, notes, reports, and other related information. The Survey Files Series includes the architectural analyses of buildings Bowman County. The analyses are comprised of photos, maps, and survey reports.
