Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Richard Schneider Papers consists of seven different series: Yearbooks, Baby Book, Ephemera, Education, Correspondence, Newspaper Clippings, and Memoirs.
The Baby Book Series consists of Richards’s baby book from the year he was born, remaining mostly empty.
The Correspondence Series consists of letters and correspondence to his family members.
The Ephemera Series contains awards, certificates, and membership cards belonging to Richard Schneider.
The Education Series consists of Richard’s school papers, the “Red River Handicap Club book,” commencement programs, evaluations and drafts of his work.
The Newspaper Series consists of newspaper clippings of articles about the Crippled Children’s School and Richard Schneider’s books and awards.
The Memoirs Series consists of personal papers, and chapters written by Richard on his life, and how he overcame challenges.
The Yearbook Series includes yearbook of the “Island Echo” from his years at the Crippled Children’s School.
