Typed copy of the history of his biological parents and his adoptive parents. Parents were Philip J. Huber and Rose Engel. His father emigrated from Odessa, Russia in 1907, worked on various farms in Wells County, N.D., and began farming on his own 1921. First wife died in 1929, Harold's mother was from Nebraska, she had moved to N.D. in 1931. Her maiden name was Engel. John "Jack" Miller, born in Cornwall, Ontario, immigrated to Buffalo, N.D. 1910. Owned a drugstore in Balfour, N.D.; married Martha E. Sampson, Minot, N.D., circa 1918. They moved to Harvey, N.D. Miller died in 1951.

Born to the Huber family near Fessenden, N.D. in 1934. Adopted in 1937 by John and Martha Sampson Miller, Harvey, N.D. Graduate of North Dakota Agricultural College in 1956.
