Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Dr. Ronald Olin Collection consists of a handwritten letter and envelope sent from John P. Doerksen of Giroux, Manitoba to his brother, Henry P. Doerksen of Satanta, Kansas. The letter is dated November 2, 1938. The envelope has a 3 cent King George stamp. The letter is written in pencil on 8” x 10” linen weave tablet paper, with blue lines on one side. John writes about general things, like the weather and wishing Henry a happy birthday.
