Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Mary Ann (Werre) Lehr Collection consists of one songbook, Songs We Love to Sing II, hadnwritten letters in German, and one large panoramic photograph of coal mining in Garrison ND. The book was published in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1985 by the Germans from Russia Heritage Society (GRHS). There is an inscription in the book that reads, “Julius Werre/ Lehr, N. Dak.” The book contains over 200 songs in both English and German.
