Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Alvina Schurr Collection consists of twelve photographs relating to the Schurr, Hartwig, Bauer, Peltz, Redman, and Grenz families; circa 1880s-1920s. The photographs are primarily of family, couple, and wedding portraits. The other images are of farm scenes. These photographs were taken on the August Bauer farm and the Wilhelm “William” Schurr farm.
