Abstract
Typed manuscript of Lang's German Russian family lines, all of whom emigrated from Russia between 1899 and 1909, eventually settling in the Streeter, Gackle, and Fredonia, N.D. areas. Family names include Lang, Kalmbach, Krieger, Kleinknecht and Dorr. Paper was written for the Germans from Russia symposium held at NDSU in July 1990.

Copy of Captain William Ludlow's report on the 1874 Black Hills Expedition, pamphlet from the Custer-Ft. Lincoln Foundation, Bismarck, N.D., newspaper and magazine clippings. Clippings include reminiscences by General E.S. Godfrey and Sergeant Jacob Horner who served under Custer, rescue of Little Big Horn survivors, and obituaries of Homer and Charles Windolph who served under Custer.

The George A. Sinner Photograph Collection spans from the late 1970s and continues into the early 1990s; mostly of trips that Sinner took to the Republic of China and Japan when he was North Dakota Governor. This collection consists of ninety-three color photographic prints. They came as part of the accession of scrapbooks and artifacts from Sinner’s governorship. The photographs have been organized into three series: Foreign Trips, Topical, and Photograph Albums.

(Larson) Rasmusen, Norwegian immigrants, who first settled near Preston Minn., later moving to Georgetown, Minn. in 1881. Includes brief mention of his brothers, John, a blacksmith who moved to S.D. to farm, returned to Fargo where he died in 1920, 1882 spring flooding of the Buffalo and Sheyenne rivers, Robert, a barber in Moorhead, and George's farm near Audubon, Minn.
