Scope and Contents The Emerson Harris Photograph Collection primarily consists of images taken from the mid-1880s until the 1930s. There are a variety of photographic formats including cabinet photographs, photographic postcards, and one tintype. The collection has been organized into three series: People, Farming and Homes, and the Pure Food Grocery Store. Abstract The Robert G. Foss Glass Negative Collection consists of 301 4x5 inch glass plate negatives and eleven 5x7 inch glass plate negatives (these are filed at the end of the collection, numbered 302-312). Very few of the negatives are identified and thus the collection has been arranged alphabetically by topic.
