Photocopy of an article written by daughter Claire, recounts his life through various brief clippings compiled from the Cooperstown courier newspaper. Includes mention of his first job working railroad construction from Volga to Pierre, Dakota Territory (now S.D.), 1889 blizzard, his campaign for sheriff, attempting to stop a runaway horse team, his marriage, and births of his children.

(Committee to Save North Dakota, Inc.) which opposed the project, Sivert Thompson, and the North Dakota Farmers Union. Also includes Canadian pamphlets raising concerns about the diversion project.
