dc.description.abstract | The city of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood currently has one community garden dedicated to children. The neighborhood is one of the poorest in the city and is very ethnically diverse. With the University of Minnesota in the neighborhood it would be the perfect opportunity to have the latest technology for growing food. Using underutilized spaces such as walls, rooftops, and parks, will create the perfect area’s to grow food. By providing the area with different ways to grow food, people of all backgrounds can have access to healthy food while creating bonds. | en_US |
