dc.description.abstractYouth Centers around America are dedicated to improve the health, safety and communication of the overall youth population. Throughout the United States of America, there are several organizations that focus on the youth. Youth Centers provide deliberate and intentional programs, academic, social and emotional support, family engagement, community resources, and safe and innovative spaces. Many communities lack this great asset. This thesis research provides cultural youth solutions for the local environment in Belcourt, North Dakota; Cultural Youth Learning Center. The Youth Center will purpose as an educational center, as well as a resource for the community. If a local youth center can have a positive aspect to the small town community, it has the opportunity to create a better outcome of success of the community. Research investigates and analyzes current issues drawn in the small town of North Dakota, its positives and negatives.en_US
