dc.description | Ron Vossler was born in Wishek, North Dakota, lived and worked in Grand Forks, North Dakota for a time as an English and writing professor, later in his life he moved to a farm near Olso, Minnesota. A graduate of Arizona State, and held various jobs such as a farm laborer, archaeological fieldworker, small magazine editor, and a teacher in Pakistan. Vosslers grand parents were born in Urkaine, because of his heritage most of his writing focuses on that background of German-Russians, and the prairie. Vossler described his background as “Dakota German”, commonly known as the Germans from Russia. | en_US |
