This project intends to allow the public to have easy access to various resources and spaces within which to practice art, material hobbies, music, or simply gathering in a creative environment. This intent will be fulfilled with the design of a creative community center on a site in downtown St. Paul. The building will of course address needs such as accessibility and sustainability, as well as simply being an enjoyable public space. However, the main objective of this thesis is to identify and apply the elements of architecture that can connect an urban community through the design of a makerspace.en_US
