The purpose of this thesis project is to create a place for the Young Women’s Christian Association to provide assistance to troubled women and children in the Fargo area and surrounding communities. This project will combine the needs of the YWCA with the design solutions used by the Modern Movement era to create a facility that is both functional and comfortable. The new YWCA complex will focus on the healing needs of the environment by incorporating natural ventilation and sunlight in all spaces.en_US
