Front Street in 1935

Front Street in 1935.

This enlargement of a photographic postcard is looking west on Front Street from Broadway in about 1935.

On the south side of the street, is the Hat Box (E.L. Maxwell, hatter) below Shotwell's on the corner. Next, moving west, are the Silver Tray Cafe, a cleaners, Fargo Drug, Big Red Grocery and Meat Market, the Virginia Cafe, a jewelry store, and deLendrecie's. Across Seventh Street is the Waldorf Hotel. Businesses further west are not distinguishable.

On the far right of the image, is part of Shotwell Floral in the Northern Pacific Park.
