This photograph, taken in the fall of 1876, is looking east on Front Street (Main Avenue), from 7th Street South, showing the office of Dr. F. L. Richter, a drug store, an arcade and billiard parlor, and the European Clothing Hall.

This photograph, an enlarged and cropped half of a stereoview, was taken by F. J. Haynes about 1876. The image looks southeast from the Headquarters Hotel and overlooks Front Street south of what is now Broadway.

The only legible signs are that of the third building from the right (a Billiard Hall) and the fifth (Rogers & Kimball).
