Abstract Transciption of 35 letters written by Carrie and and W.A. Craker from Gladstone, N.D. primarily to her brother Eldorus Labare at Omena as well as her parents. There are also several letters by Eldorus when in North Dakota and Wisconsin. In addition there is a copy of a newspaper article written in 1883 by W.A.'s uncle Robert Lee from Gladstone regarding the area and promoting immigration. It was published in The Enterprise of Leelanau, Michigan.

Scope and Content The Cooperstown School District Records consists of records accumulated by Myrtle Porterville who took an early interest in the history of Griggs County. She did extensive research and collecting while teaching in Cooperstown. Organization and file folder label is based in large part upon her original folder labeling and organization.
