Ross Mackenzie (dated June 1, 1921), concerning Mr. Sweeney's life in the 5th U.S. Army in the 1850s and gold prospecting in Colorado, Utah and Nevada. Includes mention of the Mountain Meadows massacre, army duty in Texas, Florida, and Utah, pioneer wagon trains, rationing food, freight hauling in Nebraska, Wyoming, and S.D.

Abstract
Interview conducted by Leonard Sackett of the Institute in which McKinnon talks about his father, James McKinnon, a Scottish immigrant to Woodstock, Ontario, Canada and in 1881 to Mapleton, N.D. where he farmed. He also mentions Stevenson Dunlop who was a land realtor and large farmer near Mapleton, Duncan Brownlee, and Mapleton, N.D. Also in the file are two clippings concerning Mr. McKinnon's death.

Jane Bovard Papers

Abstract
The Jane Bovard papers contain materials involving four organizations with which Bovard was involved: North Dakota Council for a Legal Safe Abortion, Fargo Women's Health Organization, Citizens for a Real Choice, and Red River Women's Clinic. In addition to records from these organizations, the papers contain a large collection of newspaper clippings in three formats: originals, photocopies, and clippings that were assembled into scrapbooks by Bovard, FWHO staff, and organization members.

The Jane Bovard Photograph Collection consists primarily of color photographs taken by Bovard, FWHO staff, volunteers, and supporters, of protests at the FWHO, damage done by protesters to the clinic, and protests at varied locations, including Bovard‘s residence (Fargo, N.D.) and the Chisholm, Minn. home of Dr. George Miks, who worked for the FWHO.
