Abstract
Two handwritten letters in Icelandic with handwritten English translations. One letter, written in 1890, from J. Petursson, Cash City, Canada to someone in North Dakota, mentions the cold, Icelanders in Canada, and threshers from Dakota. The other letter, also dated 1890, written by Stephen G. Stephansson, Greenwater, Iceland mentions family members, deaths of friends and a sister-in-law dying in childbirth. Provenance of letters unknown.
