European Hotel
The hotel was previously Crane's Hotel. The 1895-96 Fargo city directory lists the hotel as simply the European Hotel. It was first owned by R. R. White, then by Patrick H. Cummings, and finely in 1908 by Clifford E. Halbert as Halbert's European Hotel. Halbert's European Hotel was located at the head of Broadway next to Moody's. In 1910, the hotel became the Plaza Hotel.
