NP Avenue in the 1920s

This photograph from about 1922 looks west on N.P. Avenue from about 1st Street North. On the left we see McHose & Pardoe, a mattress manufacturing company at 210 N.P. Avenue. Next door is the Twin City Company, a threshing machine company at 218 N.P. Avenue.

This real photograph postcard was taken sometime between August 8 and August 10, 1929. The date is based upon the movie playing at the State Theater on the right called Careers starring Billie Dove.
