This real photograph postcard from the 1930s looks east on N.P. Avenue from just west of 8th Street North.

On the left (north side) of N.P. Avenue we can see the John Schlanser & Son Contractors, City Hall on the corner of Roberts Street, the Model Laundry at 633 N.P. Avenue, and Knight Printing at 619 N.P. Avenue. The remaining businesses are indistinguishable.

On the right (south side) of N.P. Avenue we can see the Union Transfer Company at 806-810 N.P. Avenue, the Swift Company at the corner of 8th Street, the Northern School Supply at 648, Crane Company 636, Koppang-Kelly Dodge dealership 624, and Northern States Power Company at 612.
